Mukteshwar has a way of slowing things down — pine forests, quiet mountain air, and views that stretch all the way to the snow peaks on a clear day. Meru Stays sits right in the middle of that calm, a boutique homestay with just 6 rooms tucked into the outskirts of town, away from the noise.
This isn't a place built for crowds. It's built for slow mornings with chai on the balcony, mist over the hills, and evenings that end around a bonfire instead of a screen. Small enough to feel personal — you're not a room number here, you're a guest we actually get to know.
Whether you're here to hike, unplug, or simply do nothing at all, Meru Stays is your home away from home — a place to slow down and remember what calm actually feels like.
And yes, you'll probably meet Neo — our resident dog and unofficial host.

We're originally from Nainital — and like most people from the hills, we always dreamt of having a home of our own in the mountains. A place we could open up to travellers and share a bit of our Kumaoni culture, food, and hospitality with.
So I bring the IITian brain to the bookings and the internet side of things, and they bring the warmth, the stories, and the home-cooked meals. Together, that's Meru Stays.
